Austin Laser Dentist partners with Capitol Area Food Bank of Texas this holiday season to raise food and funds for families in need.
Austin Laser Dentist’s Holiday Food Drive
Austin Laser Dentist is organizing a food drive this holiday season as a way to give back to the community. From now until December 21st, Austin Laser is collecting non-perishable foods and funds of any amount at their Austin dentist office. For all who wish to participate, donations are being collected during normal business hours. In addition, Austin Laser promises to match all charitable donations.
About Capitol Area Food Bank of Texas
Each year, Capital Area Food Bank of Texas (CAFB) provides 17 million-plus pounds of food and grocery products to more than 350 non-profit human and social service Partner Agencies. Austin Laser Dentist wants to help people in the community who fall under these categories. According to the most recent census data, 307, 296 Texans in Capital Area Food Bank of Texas’s (CAFB) service territory live in poverty. Additionally, one out of every six Texans is food insecure and has difficulty meeting basic nutritional needs. Austin Laser Dentist hopes to help CAFB this holiday season by providing as much food and as many funds as possible.

About Dr. Helen Ragsdale
Dr. Helen Ragsdale has been practicing dentistry in the Austin area for over 25 years. She earned her doctorate of dental science (DDS) degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Ragsdale earned her fellowship from World Clinical Laser institute, studied aesthetics at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and has received additional advanced training in sedation, laser dentistry, and full reconstructive and rehabilitative dentistry.
